As of now, we all know search engines are object blind, but it seems Google is going to change this thought.
Google persons Yushi Jing and Shumeet Baluja disclose with the paper “PageRank for Product Image Search,” (PDF) in Beijing ‘International world wide web conference’.
By this new method of search, Google identify the ‘image’ itself, providing more accurate results, which is all different from its current method that reads the ‘text’ alongwith the images.
This is almost similar method like PageRank . The Google engineers made this model running through some experiments using 2000 of the most popular products queries. They found significant improvement, in terms of user satisfaction and relevancy, in comparison to the most recent Google Image Search results.
